Paint Pop Animate! runs for 8 weeks, with 1 session per week throughout the school Term.

Kids are introduced to the world of stop- motion through fun, hands-on projects.

Kids will learn:

Foundational Making

  • Observational/ imaginative drawing

  • Character design

  • Storytelling and storyboarding

Creative Construction

Character creation and world building using:

  • Clay

  • Paper puppets

  • Lego

  • Toys

  • Everyday objects

Animation

  • Stop motion techniques

  • Sequencing and storytelling

  • Smooth movement with spacing and keyframes

  • Frame rate

  • Camera movement and control

  • Adding sound effects and voices
